DWAIN Chambers' hopes of reigniting his track career took another blow when he was excluded from three of UK Athletics' major summer events.

Euromeetings leader Rajne Soderberg announced earlier this week that Chambers and other drug cheats will not be invited to any of the 51 meetings held under its banner.

Now Chambers will be told he is not welcome to appear at the three major Norwich Union meetings in Glasgow on 8 June, London on 25-26 July and the post-Olympic Gateshead Grand Prix on 31 August.

However UKA admitted they do not have a constitutional regulation preventing the 29-year-old Londoner from racing in the United Kingdom Championships from 11-13 July, which double as the Olympic trials.
