Mirror reporter spends the day with the Maasai Marathon runners

They've been asked to wear underpants, advised to leave our cows alone and told to expect everyone they meet to be miserable.

For the six Maasai warriors who are competing in the Flora London Marathon on Sunday, the 26-mile race will be a doddle compared to navigating their way around this strange new world.

They have left Eluai in Tanzania for two weeks in Cooling, Kent, during which they will see the sights - but, sadly, they won't be sipping tea with the Queen as hoped.

Here we join the fearless warriors for a day to see what they are finding so Great about Britain...
